A reference, already!
If you search for youphood on google then not much comes up which is why I was surprised to see somebody had already blogged about the site. Considering it’s only been up a week and there isn’t much going on this took me by surprise. However they had spotted that in the about page there was a reference to the Robot Co-op, which it isn’t, so they were thinking that it may have something to do with them. Shamefully I have to admit that it was just some light fingered copying on my part to save time. Don’t worry I didn’t copy the entire thing outright, I just went to my top ten favourite sites and *drew inspiration* from all of them. I will be going back and editing/revising/whatever those pages when I have the time.
Also I got the ‘digg like spy effect’ working on the homepage which scrolls through the newest recipes which I thought was quite cool. No I didn’t copy that from them, I made it myself using the jQuery framework, which is quite handy.
